This four-week course focuses on thematic graphic design practices, introducing diverse creative methods including collage, hand drawing, Adobe software, and AI image-generation tools. It explores the integration of different media and digital technologies in visual design.

Week 1: Complete a handmade collage that communicates your perception and reflection on the chosen theme through the language of graphic design. When the noise of the world gradually envelops our senses, we drift away from the body's innate rhythm. This collage draws inspiration from six healing plants, white sage, rosemary, lemongrass, lavender, cedar, and eucalyptus. By layering fragments of nature, it constructs a quiet space of botanical restoration, unfolding across the page as a gentle ritual of returning to inner stillness. Rather than seeking harmony as a fixed destination, I explore a more intrinsic order in which humans and nature do not possess one another but remain in a state of continual co-creation and dynamic balance. In this context, plant-based healing is not understood as an instant remedy, but as an ongoing process. By reconnecting with nature's rhythms, the individual gradually recalibrates, cultivating a quieter and more enduring relationship with time, place, and the surrounding environment.

「Week 2: The vast, crystal-clear expanse of Sayram Lake creates a landscape removed from the noise of everyday life. At sunrise, the first light gently spreads across the water, where reflections and soft morning light merge into a quiet atmosphere of openness, allowing anxiety and restlessness to gradually dissolve.」 Standing by the lakeshore as dawn broke, I found myself immersed in the stillness of the landscape and experienced a rare sense of inner calm. This feeling of ease and tranquility inspired this 2K oil painting, for which I chose the sunrise over Sayram Lake as the backdrop, capturing the emotional resonance of that fleeting moment. Within the composition, I used Image-2 to generate a translucent green human silhouette. Green symbolizes vitality, renewal, and healing, while the solitary figure represents a return to nature and the release of emotional burdens, reflecting my own experience of serenity and restoration at Sayram Lake. Ultimately, the work explores the emotional connection between people and the natural world, inviting viewers to step away from the noise of everyday life and rediscover a sense of inner peace through the interplay of light, landscape, and reflection.
